  1. I just started reading and I'm having fun. As an American living in Canada, I'm kind of the opposite and I share many of your ideas about the two countries. By the way, we're warming up here ;-) Could change any day, of course.

  3. Generally we insist in performing what we are good at, I guess, in order to demonstrate our superiority, and thus we inspire others to compete with us. If I allow them to prove themselves, they might feel fulfilled. But if I step on their heads, will not. What would make a difference would be to try something new, knowing from the start that I might not be brillant, not even good. I would become richer through the experience, amused, cultivate my sense of humour, honour the differences and remember to be humble, as our knowledge is so...so....limited
